After careful consideration and witnessing the platform's rapid decline, I have decided to discontinue all support for TRAE and redirect my efforts to YecoAI - my Italian/European AI startup.
Why I Left TRAE:
- 💰 Unacceptable Billing Practices: The change from $3 to $1 per request is a joke. It essentially means "try less than 1 prompt" - completely unsustainable for serious developers.
- 🔇 Complete Radio Silence: The TRAE.AI Discord account is no longer managed by the TRAE Team. Fei has stopped checking chats, replying, or creating events.
- 🤝 Enterprise Abandonment: BytePlus for TRAE Enterprise simply doesn't reply to inquiries anymore.
- 🚫 Model Stagnation: No new models have been released for EU users since June 6. They've also severely limited access to CN models.
- 📉 The End of Sustainability: Literally the end of TRAE as a viable platform.
This is the proof that TRAE is no longer sustainable. When a company shows such blatant disregard for its user base and fails to maintain basic communication, it's time to move on.
